Care instructions

We all need love, even our comforters! That's why it's important to take care of your comforter. With the right care, even a comforter of lower quality can last for many years, as it's not only the quality that determines how well a comforter holds up. Take a look at the information below about the specific material or fabric for your comforter (...and don't forget to shower your comforter with lots of love!)

Flufftips

  • Shake. It's the air in down products that generates warmth. A thorough shake when making the bed allows each down and feather to straighten up and not cling together. This creates space for more air and fluff. Even out and distribute the down as you want it. Take the opportunity to shake the down comforter thoroughly when changing bed linens - simple daily exercise and maximum fluffiness at bedtime!
  • Air out. Hang out comforters, blankets, and pillows. In addition to the wonderful smell of fresh air, you'll get rid of dust and other particles. By shaking and airing your down comforter regularly, it stays clean and fresh for a long time without washing.
  • Wash. Only if you must. A Happy Fluffy Cloud comforter can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius. Choose detergent carefully; strong cleaners can deteriorate the comforter's natural properties. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry the comforter completely (it may take a bit longer than you think). Add a few tennis balls to the dryer drum to fluff the down.
  • Leave it unmade. For a little while in the morning. For the mattress's sake! Leave the bed unmade with the comforter folded up while you get ready in the morning. This allows heat and moisture to escape from the bed. (Actually, this applies especially if you have a synthetic comforter that doesn't allow moisture to pass through in the same phenomenal way as natural materials do.. but still.)
  • Store. Store the comforter in a dry place, preferably in a fabric bag. Air out (or wash if necessary) the comforter before stowing it away for the season. Ensure it's completely dry, fold it up, and see you in the fall.

100% recycled polyester.
Wash the throws at 30°C. Do not use fabric softener and avoid high-speed spinning. It's possible to use a short cold tumble cycle at the end to fluff up the throws. Note that hot tumble drying is detrimental to the pile; it might make it a bit tangled. We all need love, including our furniture...

Fluffcarpets

Fluffcarpets

Our beautiful fluffy polyester rugs are sensitive to liquids, including substances like wine or coffee. Removing stains from the rug with water can damage the rug. Just like with all materials with long pile, the fringes can clump together if exposed to liquids. The rugs can be dry cleaned if needed. Some colored rugs may have a tendency to transfer color to a lighter floor. It's difficult to avoid, but placing an anti-slip pad underneath can protect the floor.
